Baytree Owl and Wildlife Centre
We’ve had an amazing day and Baytree Owl & Wildlife centre today! The children were fantastic - they were so well-behaved that we were allowed to stroke the 3 week old baby owl! Here are some of our best bits from our visit:

We have been having lots of fun this week whilst thinking about keeping our mind and body healthy. Here are a few pictures of our work.
This week we have raised money for Young Minds, a charity that provides young people with a lifeline when faced with mental health challenges.
We hosted a bake sale - our children were very busy baking all weekend! Thank you to our Puffins school councillors Tom and Bella for helping with the cake stall. We also wore yellow for mental health.
As a school, we raised £125.10 this week and we are extremely proud of all of our children for their work this week. Thank you to all that donated and helped us to raise such a fantastic amount.
Bears Coaching Company
Thank you to Bears Coaching Company for teaching us how to be healthy whilst drinking delicious smoothies! We had lots of fun today.
Keep Learning Day
We’ve had a fantastic day learning a new sport today as part of our Keep Learning day of well-being week!
A massive thank you to Boston Tennis Club for providing this opportunity for the children.
Roots to Food
We had a great start to Well-being Week with Roots to Food teaching us how to cook Mexican Chilli Beef with Nachos... can you guess the secret ingredient?
We had lots of fun learning about equivalent fractions this week - all whilst making (and eating!) healthy pizzas!
Red Nose Day 2021!
Although it’s been a little different this year, we still had plenty of fun.

This term we have been very busy in Puffins!
We started the year off learning all about volcanoes:
We’ve enjoyed getting a little messy in our phonics sessions…
We choreographed our own Haka routines and then performed them to each other – they were certainly very intimidating!
Forces and levers are all around us!
We absolutely loved learning how to build, program and customise our own robot cars! Some of us even tested our cars at the end in a race.
During Anit-Bullying Week we made our own Acts of Kindness cards and talked about how we could be kind to each other in school:
